ALL STAR: Illustration by Tim Eggert @ The Falcon

Tim Eggert is a diverse illustrator and designer who turned his focus to basketball in his new series. For the gallery show ALL STAR, Tim illustrates the greatest basketball nicknames of all time. Tim pulls inspiration from his childhood when NBA nicknames were inventive,... dynamic, told a story. ‘I had a poster of Michael Jordan flying through the night while holding the moon. I wanted to bring that exciting imagery and storytelling back.’ The series includes such stars as ‘Sir Charles’, Clyde ‘The Glyde’, ‘The Chief’, and ‘Superman.’ With a variety of players represented, the show will appeal to fans from any era.

The last time the NBA All-Star Game was in Orlando in 1992, many of the big nicknames were taking to the court. It was the Dream Team era, with ‘Magic’ Johnson and ‘Air’ Jordan at the center of it all. This show serves as a reunion of those names during a weekend where a majority will be in town.
