The 3rd Thursday of every month, visitors gather for the 3rd Thursday Art Walk. They come to celebrate art and partake in an evening of sights, sounds, food, shopping, and cosmopolitan fun.
On a typical 3rd Thursday Art Walk, non-traditional art venues (think restaurants..., boutiques, and salons) spotlight the best of established and emerging Orlando-based artists. Expect the unexpected as each month is uniquely an experience in art and culture. The heart of the walk in on E. Washington Street. Thornton Park Highlights: Graffiti Junktion: Sandra Scheetz-Wise Mother Falcon: Riot Grrrl Art Show Outside of Mother Falcon: Nelson Martin & Dennis Hansbury The Falcon Bar & Gallery: WWJD Art Show & Fish Out Of Water Sushi Truck Outside The Falcon: Morgan Wilson and also YELP Vamp: Jewelry by Amanda Manoski Regalia: Karin Roth Be Boutique: Jewelry and other local goodies!! Lambs Eat Ivy: Brandon McLean & Laura Sommer Creative Mixed Media Nube Nove: Parker Sketch & Eclectic Kitchen Mobile Gourmet Food Truck Aroma Italian Café & Wine Bar: Live Music by JJ Patishall Envi By Design: Ivaldo Robles-"Art from the soul" & performance art by Kourtney Rea Zou Zou: Jeff Wilfong Hue Restaurant will have LIVE Jazz band & drink specials. Urban ReThink: Art based on our fair city: Orlando. Participating artists include Barry Kirsch, Thomas Thorspecken, etc. Cityfish: Complimentary oysters (yum) Though many shops are open earlier, the 3rd Thursday Art Walk officially starts at 6:00 p.m. and runs to 9:00 p.m. with restaurants and bars staying open considerably later.
